You got a warrior head. These where made for 16v ohc(pinto) N/A rally engines. They Are old designe and popular in historic racing in mk1-2 escorts, since Are the "legal" ones to use in many classes ;)

Here is the company that have IT now, dont know how old yours Are?

On the exhaust side the turbo bracket is machined away so it looks almost like factory...and as I remember all the numbers on the rear of it is removed ??

Do that. IT must be a recast yb head, since IT looks like a yb head, but IT doesent look like oe casting lettere and number been machined away, since IT looks like cast finish front where warrior is written...

Okay. On pic IT does look very "natural" cast, but pics often hides the truth... Dont think its anything on the rear of them...

Hi.

I have looked af it and someone has machined the front and rear ;)

Also on my current engine (a 4wd engine) there is something on the rear of the head, cant see it as engine is in the car but I can feel it.

Okay then IT is a "tuner" that have marked IT. Got very interested in this, if IT was something specialised buildt. But IT is ported, so IT looks like its done work on IT, so would look more on IT to find out what is done on IT.

Well if Im informed correct and it is a WARRIOR head ... they did some Work for FORD back in the days...then it would be something special to keep ...that why Im trying to find out more about WARRIOR and this head (specs and so on).

As it should be a GB Company I was hoping that by posting it here that someone could tell me more...I know that WARRIOR was bourght by another Company Connaughtengines as you mentioned earlier and maybe someone here knows someone and so on :) :) :)

Not 100% sure but think harry weslake was the "maker" of oe warrior head? But he died back in late 70's so he is not the one... I have tried before to find more info around warrior head, but its so much info out there, but very much tells not the same thing...

You dont have any history on engine where IT comes from? So you can follow the owners back to when this have been done?
