One thing that always bugged me about my car was the paddle clutch....I put up with it to start with but it made the car horrible to drive. Anyone that had a shot could barely drive it and it got to the point where I wasn't using it on that basis...

New fast road clutch in at weekend with new cable and fluids and the car is a completely different car! Clutch now feels as light as my 55 plate Audi, and is a pleasure to drive!

Been out in it most of the weekend - happy boy 8-)

yes do know the feeling... paded is harder to drive, and if 4arm pad clutch on top of that, its hard, and only on and off  have it in the escos, and its not easy to drive... need New clutch in the blue, since the one now cant handle current Power, so will need to look on New clutches... what Power do you drive, and what clutch did you get?
sorry about spelling errors and other crap from me... I am from noway... I dont know better

Agree completely mate. It's a dream to drive now :)

The car is only running stage 1 power just now so went for a LUK kit from Matt Lewis Motorsport as believe it should handle that comfortably.

thats good.

think thats what we put in that, good clutch, and was no proplem on greens on around 1,6bar but now its on greys and maxed out t34 peaking over 2.2bar... so its slipping.

Yes I believe they are one of the better aftermarket ones so I'm happy!

No wonder it's beginning to slip now with that running through it! I'd be happy at stage 3 power so hopefully it will handle that.

I always find refacing (50 Quid)the flywheel every time you do a clutch and using arp bolts (4 times useage only) plus some bedding in times makes for a good clutch ...

New cables good idea..

Used a paddle clutch -Heavy duty

Never again ...without a hydraulic conversion

Good advice there....I also added a new cable and will bed it in gently! Car doesn't get launched hard anyway lol!

Yep deffo needs a hydraulic conversion if using one like that!
